The Sword and Shield Workaround

Some people in the community have found a way to move 575 different gen 1-7 mons into Home without using Bank. This is done by injecting the mon into Sword or Shield first, and then moving them to Home

Home Tracker IDs are generated freely for mons injected using PKHeX into Sword or Shield.

This method keeps ALL of the Pokemon's information:

Example

For this example we will be taking a Silvally in Ultra Sun, and moving it to Sword and Shield

1. Prepare the mon you would like to transfer
2. Make sure this mon is not on the Blacklist
3. Back up your save using Checkpoint
4. Move the save to a PC, and open the .sav file in PKHeX
5. Export the mon
6. Back up Sword/Shield save using JKSV
7. Open the Sword/Shield save by opening the main file in PKHeX
8. Import the mon into the Sword/Shield save
9. export the Sword/Shield save
10. Use JKSV to import the Sword/Shield save back onto your Switch
11. Move the mon into Home.
